On July 10, the first Tencent WorkBuddy OPC (One-Person Company) Cooperation Community in China officially launched at Tianfu Long Island Digital Cultural and Creative Industry Park in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone. The WorkBuddy OPC Cooperation Community will reduce entrepreneurial barriers and technology costs through three key measures: subsidized computing power, tiered hands-on training, and comprehensive park services, enabling AI to genuinely empower innovation and entrepreneurship. It is reported that the launch conference of the WorkBuddy Digital Cultural and Creative OPC Community was also a city-side event of the 2026 APEC Digital Week.

"With the WorkBuddy OPC Community landing in Chengdu, Tencent Cloud will deliver its technological foundation, computing power subsidies, and expert mentorship directly to creators, making the path 'from super individual to super team' a visible and replicable journey," he said.

It is reported that over the next year, the Tencent Cloud Developer Community will collaborate with parks and local communities to organize multiple salon-style training sessions, forming a complete closed loop of "technical instruction – hands-on training – expert guidance – experience replication." This will accelerate development for more OPCs and use inclusive public tech-welfare activities to open channels for the general public to access and understand cutting-edge AI.

The launch of the WorkBuddy OPC Community represents an attempt to build an OPC community through the collaboration of specialized industrial parks and intelligent agent tool platforms.
